Giles, Jacob Archie

(July 13, 2001 – June 15, 2021)

Jacob Archie Giles was born on Friday, July 13, 2001, at 9:20pm in Houston, Texas. He died on June 15, 2021, at 4:03pm in San Antonio, Texas at the age of 19. When Jake was born, he was welcomed by his mom and sister Dallas. He is survived by his father Stocky Morgan, mother Jennifer Morgan, sister Dallas Giles, sister Jessica Morgan, sister Fawna McKinley, grandmother Joyce Dennis, grandparents Harry and Carolyn Jacks, grandmother Carol Giles, uncle and aunt David and Tracey Dennis, uncle Shawn Jacks and Kelly Waghalter, uncle and aunt Michael and Tavis Jacks, aunt Michelle Giles, uncle and aunt Kenneth and Tracy Conway, aunt Courtney Joyce. Jake is also survived by 16 cousins, Lauren Harold, Shelby Dennis, Garrett Dennis, Khodi Jacks, Logan Jacks, Jordan Jacks, Callah Jacks, Payton Jacks, Brody Jacks, Maddox Jacks, Reese Jacks, Easton Jacks, Kameron Conway, Kennedy Conway, Makeena Joyce and Collyn Joyce. Jacob had numerous other family including many great aunts and uncles. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Gary Dennis, grandfather Jim Giles, uncle Greg Dennis and
uncle Brett Morgan.

Jake fought a courageous battle against a rare form of childhood cancer for 9 years. He did 9 different lines of chemo and many rounds of radiation. He showed his family what it means to be a warrior and hero. Jake loved to play video games with his sister Dallas. Loved to torment his mom and crack jokes with his dad. Services to celebrate and say
goodbye to Jake will be held at Klein Funeral Home 14711 Farm to Market Road 1488,Magnolia, Texas 77354. The viewing will be held on Friday, June 25, 2021, between 5 to 8 pm. The service will be on Saturday, June 26, 2021, at 10 am. Immediately following the service there will be a procession to take Jake to his final resting place. He will be buried with his “Papa” Gary Dennis and his Uncle Greg Dennis at Springer Macedonia Cemetery. Located at 26000 Springer Cemetery Road, Hockley, Texas 77447. We would like for everyone to tie a gold ribbon (this will be provided) on the outside mirror or car antenna before leaving for the graveside service to honor Jake’s fight against childhood cancer.
