Esther Ruth Cloud, age 94, of Bastrop, Texas, passed away on October 15, 2022.

A Visitation will be held on Monday, October 17, 2022, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Providence-Jones Family Funeral Home. A Graveside Service will be held on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, at 2:00 PM at Springer Macedonia Cemetery in Hockley, Texas.

Stallings, Allen Eugene “Gene” Stallings

(June 09, 1931 – September 09, 2022)

Allen Eugene “Gene” Stallings was born in Caddo Gap, Arkansas on June 9, 1931, and passed away in Katy, TX on September 9, 2022.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife, Inez Elizabeth Stallings.

Allen is survived by his daughters, Cheryl Stallings George and Linda Stallings Gordon; son-in-law, Tom George; step-daughter, Sue Bounds; grandchildren, Ashley Elizabeth George, Robbie Allen Gordon, Chad Ryan Gordon; and great-grandchildren, Cooper Gordon, Jayde Gordon, and Sebastian George.

A funeral service for Allen will be held at 10am on Tuesday, September 13, 2022, at Klein Funeral Home, 1400 W. Main, Tomball, TX 77375.  He will be laid to rest beside his wife immediately following the funeral in Macedonia Cemetery in Hockley, TX.

Attaway, Valentine

Valentine Attaway, 73-year-old retired carpenter, died Saturday at his home in Community camp. Survivors are his wife, sister and two brothers.

Rites will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday in the Union Gospel church. The Garrison funeral Home is in charge.

White, Mary V.

Mary V. White died October 15, 1998 at the age of 76.

Mrs. White is survived by her sons, Roy Links, Leo William White, Timothy White and Michael A. White; daughters, Helen Links, Anastasia Links and Theodora Jean White; brother, George Zobjeck; 20 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren.

Graveside services will be held Monday October 19, 1998, at 10 A.M. at Springer Macedonia Cemetery with John Isom officiating.

Alvena Wenzel, age 82 of Hockley, passed away on June 18, 2003. Mrs. Wenzel is survived by her husband, Carl Wenzel; sons, Glenn Wenzel and wife Betty, and David Wenzel and wife Terri; daughter, Evelyn Ramsey and husband Larry; brother, Harril Harvie Necessary and wife Margie; sister, Joyce Mae Clay and husband Chester; 15 grandchildren; and numerous great grandchildren.
Visitation will be Thursday, June 19, 2003, from 5 – 9pm at Canon Funeral Home Chapel. Funeral Services will be Friday, June 20, 2003, at 10:00am at Canon Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Evelyn Cox officiating. Interment will follow at Macedonia Cemetery

Syble V. Vann age 18 of Hockley passed away Tuesday, June 30, 1996, in Tomball Texas.

Mrs. Van is survived by her two daughters, Winnie Marie Arnold, Margaret Ann Travis and Husband John. Brother, John B. Simmons and wife Edna. Sister, Louise Thompson; grandchildren, Vanessa Kay Henley and husband Paul, Stacy Chester Arnold and wife Catherine; Angela June Arnold. Great grandchildren, Stacy Kristine and Derek Matthew Arnold.

Funeral Services will be held Thursday Aug. 1, 1996, at 10:00am at Canon Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow in Macedonia Cemetery with Pastor Evelyn Cox officiating.

Daniel Wayne Sneed 21 passed away December 17, 1997. He is survived by his parents Jim and Karen Sneed; Brother Robert Sneed; Fiancé Farah Ford; daughter Oliva Ford; Grandfather Warren Madden Sr.

Olsen, Jack Lloyd

Jack Lloyd Olson passed away peacefully Thursday evening December 4th at the Heights of Tomball surrounded by his family. Jack was born 01/13/1939 in Houston Texas to Jack N. & Irene Lloyd-Olson who preceded him in death. His family moved to Brownsville Texas shortly after the end of WWII where he graduated from Brownsville High School. Jack was very active in Scouting, earning the rank of Eagle Scout with Silver Palms. He was a life member of the Benevolent and Protective Order of the Elks Lodge #1032 and a Past Exalted Ruler. Jack was a sportsman who loved racing, hunting, fishing, and golfing, which he shared with all his sons. He is survived by his 3 sons and their families; Jack Lloyd Olson II and wife Karen; Glenn William Olson, wife Samantha and their daughters Shelby and Bryanna; Raymond Olson and daughter Rachel; and his sister, Jo Ann Trepl and her children John, James, Renee, Shelly, and Peggy.
